What Is The
Electrostatic spray surface disinfection and/or antimicrobial coating is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. The electrostatic spray uses a solution that is combined with air and atomized by an electrode inside the sprayer.
How Does The
Electrostatic Process Work?
As the antimicrobial coating or disinfectant exits the electrostatic sprayer, it’s given a positive electrical charge. The droplets then become attracted to all negative surfaces, covering the area with a 3D effect, underside and backside, with the sanitising agent or antimicrobial coating.
Why Use The Electrostatic Process?
Dry dusting kicks up resting particles, redistributing them into the air and onto other surfaces. Wet dusting can involve harmful cleaning chemicals and often areas are missed.
Whilst the traditional wiping of surfaces with a cloth is the usual option, this method is only effective at getting rid of 11%* of harmful bacteria and viruses. Wiping down surfaces can actually spread germs, especially when only one cloth is used to clean all surfaces.

What Is The
ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY TECHNOLOGY
Most surface areas are neutral (uncharged) or negative. Electrostatic application for surface disinfection and antimicrobial coating protection is a method of applying disinfectants and protective coatings to a target surface area by utilizing an electrostatic force of attraction. Simply put, the electrostatic system places an electrical charge* on the droplets and disperses them across a target surface area providing comprehensive, even 360-degree coverage.

How Does The
Electrostatic Process Work?
Electrostatics is a branch of physics that studies the phenomena and properties of stationary or slow-moving electric charges (Electrostatics, 2016). Electrostatic phenomena is easily demonstrated when lint is attracted to clothes, or when dust clings to a TV screen.
Electrostatic induction charging is a method of creating or generating static electricity in a material by bringing an electrically charged object near it.
